GO STATE! The MSU Alumni Club of South Florida serves one of the largest concentrations of Green & White faithful in the country! Covering the tri-county area of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade, there are over 4,000 Spartan alumni and families in the South Florida area.
The MSU Alumni Club of South Florida works toward three goals:
- Providing alumni and friends of MSU social and professional networking opportunities in the South Florida area.
- Helping Spartan-owned and operated businesses thrive and succeed.
- Helping future and current MSU students with our scholarship fund.

Spartan Football Fantasy Camp Scheduled For June 11-12
Adult men (18 and older) are invited to enroll in the seventh-annual Spartan Football Fantasy Camp, scheduled for June 11-12 on the Michigan State campus. The entire Michigan State coaching staff, led by head coach Mark Dantonio, will conduct offensive and defensive drills and a 7-on-7 scrimmage.

NCAA Grants Arnett's Waiver Request; Receiver Eligible For 2012 Season
Michigan State sophomore wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett's request for a residence waiver has been granted by the NCAA, so he will be eligible to play in 2012. Arnett had 24 receptions for 242 yards and two touchdowns in 2011 as a true freshman at Tennessee but requested a release from his scholarship following the season, so he could transfer closer to his hometown of Saginaw, Mich., and his father William, who is battling heart and kidney problems.

MSU Athletic Communications Staff Honored By FWAA
The Football Writers Association of America has announced its third "Super 11" field of sports information departments which were deemed the best in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision during the 2011 season. Michigan State, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Northern Illinois, Oklahoma, San Diego State, Southern California, Syracuse, Utah State and Western Kentucky are the winners.

Kickoff Times Set For Homecoming Plus Two Road Games
MSU's Oct. 6 game at Indiana and its Oct. 13 Homecoming game against Iowa will kickoff at 12 p.m. EDT and be televised by either ESPN, ESPN2 or Big Ten Network. The distribution platform will be determined six-to-12 days in advance of those two games. In addition, ABC announced it will televise MSU's Oct. 27 game at Wisconsin, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. EDT.

Spartan Football All-Access Debuts Thursday On FOX Sports Detroit
The "Spring Edition" of "Spartan Football All-Access" debuts on FOX Sports Detroit Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. EDT. The 60-minute "Spring Edition" covers the team from the post-game celebration following Michigan State's triple-overtime victory over Georgia in the 2012 Outback Bowl through defensive tackle Jerel Worthy's decision to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft, Signing Day, NFL Scouting Combine, MSU's Pro Day, winter conditioning, spring practice and the Green-White spring game.

Green And Izzo Honored With NABC National Awards
Michigan State coach Tom Izzo and senior forward Draymond Green were honored as the best in the nation by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Sunday night. Green became the third Spartan to ever earn National Player of the Year honors as he was named NABC Division I Player of the Year, while Izzo was named UPS NABC Division I Coach of the Year for the second time in his career, marking the eighth national award of his career.

Izzo Year-In-Review Press Conference
Michigan State men's basketball coach Tom Izzo addressed the media on Tuesday in his annual year-in-review press conference. He discussed many topics, including a few final thoughts on MSU's season-ending loss to Louisville, the many amazing accomplishments of the 2011-12 Spartans, and a look ahead to what different players can be expected to contribute in 2012-13.

Green Selected To Associated Press First Team
Michigan State senior forward Draymond Green was named to the Associated Press' All-America Team Monday. Green is just the fourth Spartan to be a first-team selection, joining Mateen Cleaves (1999), Shawn Respert (1995), and Earvin "Magic" Johnson (1979).

Green Named To Wooden Award All-America Team
Michigan State senior forward Draymond Green was named to the 10-member Wooden Award All-America Team Monday. Green is the first Spartan to be honored by the Wooden Award since Charlie Bell in 2001, and just the eighth in school history.
